Local Guest Artists

The Paragon Gallery is proud to exhibit revolving bodies of work from talented local Guest Artists.

Guest Artist Artwork is displayed at the gallery on a rotating basis; each artist’s work is featured in the Paragon for approximately 6 weeks at a time. Our Guest Artist area displays both ‘floor’ artwork & ‘wall’ artwork. Featured guest artwork ranges through all mediums, spanning many types of painting styles, photography, jewelry, pottery, multimedia work, etc. Come check out our beautiful Guest Artist artwork at the Paragon!

Guest Artist applications are always open! Guest Artists must be full-time residents of the Gunnison Valley. Applications may be downloaded via the link below, but must be submitted in person at the gallery. Come by the Paragon anytime during normal business hours to inquire or drop off a completed application.

Zach Bauer

Zach was born and raised in Colorado. He moved to the Gunnison Valley in 2004 to attend Western State University. He graduated in 2009 with a BFA in Art.  An avid lover of the outdoors, his adventures help indicate his art. Many times he can be found on the ski slopes or mountain bike trails with a pen and sketchbook in hand. A “plein air” painter when the weather allows, he has taught many classes for the Center for the Arts and continues to do so today.  Zach is also a member of the Artists of Crested Butte.
